I have gotten so much from all the different teachers and musicians I have encountered. Giving some of it back is very important for me. I focus a lot on finding what makes you tick - why do YOU play trombone? What music do you like? What do you picture yourself doing with the trombone? With the right help along the way the possibilities are endless. With a clear goal, the scales and technical exercises becomes worth it. If we like it or not, there is certain things we just have to do as trombone players. But why not make it fun and meaningful?
